AIO diapers are easy. They are as easy to use as disposables, but are so much more economical. Some of you may be saying to yourself, “They always seem so much more expensive.” It is true. The price can sometimes be intimidating, but what you are paying for is the convenience. It is not necessary to separate covers from inserts as AIOs are made with an absorbent inner layer attached to a waterproof outer layer. This also means there are less items to wash and carry (even if it does take a bit longer to dry). Moreover, not only do the Velcro and snap closures make for a hassle-free diaper change, AIOs often fit better under baby’s clothes. It is safe to say that an AIO diaper can be some mom’s complete cloth diaper solution.
This is why I am delighted to introduce you to RubyRumps AIO cloth diaper. It is typical of every mother to be concerned about what is touching her baby’s skin, but with the layer of soft organic hemp/cotton fleece of this diaper against baby there is nothing to worry about. Furthermore, the combination of six layers of organic hemp/cotton fleece and organic hemp/cotton jersey for the core, accompanied by the outer layers of PUL make for a super absorbent cloth diaper with little to no leakage. Those are qualities that every cloth diapering mother wants to hear!

RubyRumps AIO Cloth Diaper Put to the Test:
ABSORBENCY: Works well during the day, but if you are going to use this as a nighttime diaper I would suggest adding your favorite boosters. Watch out for the edges and make sure they are tucked in. This is an issue with any diaper though.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Marion, the face behind the brand, is super friendly and quite knowledgeable about cloth diapering. Check out her blog sometime!
CRAFTSMANSHIP: When my diaper first arrived I was a little concerned over what I was seeing. The inner layers were all bunched up in the middle. Not to worry though, with a few good shakes and slaps against my leg it was all flattened out and ready to be prepped!
FIT: This diaper was quite a bit too small for my chunky little man. I have a feeling it will fit perfectly on the new baby that will be arriving in June. This was just a case of having ordered the wrong size diaper, and not at all a reflection of the diaper itself.
OH-SO-CUTE FACTOR: I love all shades of green, so my olive RubyRumps was perfect for me.
PERFORMANCE: I am not a big fan of Velcro, but as this diaper was new the true problems with it didn’t bother me this round. Hopefully, this will be something I can avoid in the future with proper washing and drying.
PRICE: At $21.00 for a handmade AIO you really just need to know for certain that AIOs diapers are perfect for you and your lifestyle and go for it.
TRIMNESS: I really liked the wide bottom in this diaper and can’t wait to see how it fits on Baby White #2.
